Learn the Art of Nervous System Recalibration

When someone is upset, do you know exactly what to do?

Most people don’t.

And in high-stakes moments – whether with a loved one, a client, or a colleague – the wrong response can escalate distress, deepen disconnection, or even elicit a full scale mental shutdown.

That’s why we created Support Fundamentals

A NeuroEmotional Aide Certification

This is an efficient, practical, and science-based training, designed to teach you exactly how to respond when someone is upset in a way that helps to regulate, shift, and reprogram their nervous system in real-time.

What You’ll Learn

Assess the Brain State — Quickly determine if one is in a Survival, Emotional, or Executive brain state, and respond appropriately.

Regulate the Nervous System — Learn proven nervous system soothing techniques to lower activation, shift neurochemistry, and stay centered and grounded.

Speak to the Brain That’s Driving — Use specific tools and precise “language” to move from dysregulation into coherence.

Interrupt Emotional Overwhelm — Employ rapid-response techniques to diffuse upset, prevent over-activation, and reestablish emotional stasis.

Facilitate More Executive Function — Work with brain states to enhance cognitive processing, improve creative problem-solving, and increase accuracy, efficiency, and efficacy.

What Students Say

This is the course everyone needs to take at school. That’s it.
— Kimille
Thanks to the tools I’ve learned from CEE I am able to connect deeply in short amounts of time and leave feeling loved & supported rather than exhausted. That’s how I know I am doing it “right”
— Erin
Natalie and Nathan know EVERYTHING. Really beautiful and layered course. About being a better person. About coming back to yourself. About going to the source. About feeling the feelings. The safest place on Earth to be.
— Ema
Natalie and Nathan guided us with tenderness and truth into the depths of the three brain states — how to identify where clients are (little and big clients) and how to hold them with tenderness and grace. As I bring this work to my private and work world, I feel confident and grateful that I get to pass along this information to my co-parenting team and many others in my life. I find that this work complements my work as a Shamanic Healer, as I wanted to learn about holding space to witness pre-healing.

I will carry this work with me for the rest of my life.

After graduating from Support Fundamentals, you can start using your new skills and Certification to start supporting immediately!

  • The NeuroEmotional Aide Certification (available through Support Fundamentals) and Emotional Sovereignty School both work with similar foundational principles, but they differ in their focus, depth, and the role of the participants.

    1. NeuroEmotional Aide Certification:

    • Focus: This certification is specifically aimed at training individuals to become proficient in supporting others with emotional regulation, brain state shifts, and NeuroEmotional Co-Processing techniques. It offers tools for immediate, hands-on support in navigating Survival, Emotional, and Executive brain states.

    • Depth: This program is more practical and foundational. It provides the skills and knowledge needed to support others in their emotional journeys and help them move toward emotional sovereignty. It’s more about building the know-how to assist others and not necessarily about deeper, personal emotional prowess.

    • Role: The certified NeuroEmotional Aide becomes someone who can offer immediate assistance, often in a supportive or facilitative role, helping others stabilize their emotional state and guiding them through initial emotional processing techniques.

    2. Emotional Sovereignty School:

    • Focus: This program dives deeper into the individual’s own emotional processing prowess. It's about understanding, healing, and rewiring oneself toward Emotional Sovereignty, which is the ability to navigate all brain states with agility and self-awareness.

    • Depth: Emotional Sovereignty School goes further into self-transformation, focusing not only on external support tools but on shifting internal emotional wiring for lasting emotional and behavioral success. Participants in Emotional Sovereignty School are on a journey toward self-discovery, becoming Emotionally Sovereign individuals who can navigate their own brain states effectively. They might go on to work with others, but the primary focus is on personal growth.

In essence, the certification available through Support Fundamentals is about learning how to assist and support others in their upset, while Emotional Sovereignty School is about navigating one’s own emotions well. The NeuroEmotional Aide certification serves as a foundational stepping stone that can lead into more advanced programs like NeuroEmotional Coaching or Emotional Sovereignty School, and/or serve as a useful intermediary step between Sovereignty School and Coach Training.

  • The NeuroEmotional Aide Certification (available through Support Fundamentals) and NeuroEmotional Coach Training both focus on supporting others, but they differ significantly in terms of depth, scope, and the type of role each certification prepares individuals for. Here’s how they compare:

    1. NeuroEmotional Aide Certification:

    • Focus: The NeuroEmotional Aide certification is foundational, designed to train individuals in providing immediate, supportive assistance to others navigating Emotional and Survival brain states. The focus is on practical tools and techniques for stabilizing emotional responses and guiding people through basic emotional co-processing.

    • Scope: The Support Fundamentals program equips individuals with essential tools for Survival Mode regulation, brain state shifts, and co-processing techniques. It’s geared toward those who are in more supportive or facilitative roles, such as being a guide or a resource for others but not necessarily diving deep into transformative coaching.

    • Role: Certified aides provide short-term, often situational support for people experiencing emotional overwhelm or brain state dysregulation. They might be working in contexts like community support, education, or initial coaching but are not yet trained to help clients transform deeper emotional patterns or navigate complex trauma.

    2. NeuroEmotional Coach Training:

    • Focus: NeuroEmotional Coach Training goes much deeper into all elements of an individual’s emotional health. It is designed for those who want to become certified coaches capable of helping clients identify, shift, and transform core emotional patterns and brain wiring over time.

    • Scope: The training includes advanced tools, strategies, and frameworks for transformational coaching, allowing participants to not only address surface-level emotional states but also to work with deeper trauma, unconscious patterns, and long-term emotional rewiring.

    • Role: NeuroEmotional Coaches work closely with clients to guide them through long-term, holistic neuroemotional changes. They provide structured coaching sessions that target specific emotional challenges, process traumatic experiences, and help clients develop sustainable emotional resilience, capacity, and nervous system agility.

In short, the NeuroEmotional Aide Certification is an entry-level certification for supporting others, while NeuroEmotional Coach Certification is a more professional-level certification that prepares individuals to work deeply and comprehensively with clients on their emotional journeys.
