We are now thoroughly enjoying Emotional Sovereignty, running the Center for Emotional Education, and teaching students all over the world, but we were really struggling. early on.

  • We were young parents, working multiple jobs, and trying hard, but still not feeling good enough. 

  • We had too much anxiety, too much frustration, and too much overwhelm.

  • And we were reacting to stress and conflict in impulsive unhelpful ways: like forcing time-outs, or yelling, or bolting from the house during arguments.

We had a dream of a life where we could feel better and really thrive in our lives. We knew there had to be a better way. We didn’t know what it was, but we knew it was possible.

But there were a couple small problems. . .

    1. We had no time and no money

    2. We tried forms of therapy, we read all the self-help books, but none of it was enough.

Those were tough days!
